The conference aims to promote professional development through a joint exploration of topics related to Innovative Teaching, Active Learning and Effective Assessment Practices in Language Education, and will focus on areas, including, but not limited to:

The conference programme will include plenary sessions, talks, workshops, and various social events. As usual, internationally prominent professionals in the field of ELT are invited as keynote speakers and workshop leaders. Confirmed keynote speakers are: Adrian Underhill, Keith Kelly, Tim Bowen. An ELT book exhibition of major ELT publishers and service providers will accompany the conference.
On 30th March 2012, the organisers plan to hold a PRE-CONFERENCE EVENT, focusing on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The aim of the event is to generate ideas on CLIL & ELT: What does CLIL mean to English teachers?
