European Cooperation for Regional Language Broadcasting Conference, Cardiff (UK)

The conference will focus on current topics effecting broadcasting in regions and countries with regional and minority languages, including New Media, Digitalisation and Cross Border Transmission.

The event will be placed within an EU perspective as the organisers are eager to provide an opportunity for attendees to share experiences with counterparts working in the field of broadcasting in regional and minority languages. The aim is to accommodate an open dialogue amongst broadcasters and programme commissioners from all over Europe on the benefits and challenges of European cooperation and ultimately, increasing and improving the provision available to the public in their respective languages. During the Friday lunch break there will be an opportunity for networking with other broadcasters, and there will be a poster session which will give attendees an opportunity to showcase their products with a view to share best practice and resources.
