The 21st Annual IATEFL-H Conference in Budapest (Hungary)
A major change in past years has been that information from sources beyond the classroom has become more relevant in language teaching. The new situation creates diverse and numerous learning opportunities empowering both students and teachers. How do the roles of students and teachers change in this new situation? How can we tap into these new sources of learning and create a classroom environment that empowers students to learn from and also about each other? How can we facilitate collaboration among students, educational management and teachers so they can shape their community and the world around them?
This conference will encourage English language professionals to engage in a meaningful exchange about the ways in which they can challenge their existing practice and create collaborative learning experiences for themselves, colleagues and learners.
