WORKSHOP: language in Higher Education. Challenges for Medium-Sized Language Communities. To be held at the University of Barcelona (Spain, 28 October 2011)
The Conference on multilingualism in the Nordic countries 'Four or more languages for all - Language policy challenges of the future' will take place in the Faroe Islands (Denmark) on 22 - 24 August 2011.
The tenth conference on the Nordic languages as second and foreign language will take place on 25-28 May 2011 in Reykjavík (Iceland). The conference has three main themes: Complexity, Motivation and Output in Language Learning (including teaching and learning vocabulary, as well as CALL in language learning).
Le projet LICI et ses produits se focalisent sur la langue étudiée et son enseignement dans un contexte EMILE (Enseignement d’une matière par l’intégration d’une langue étrangère). L’idée maîtresse du projet est qu’en mettant en valeur la langue dans l’enseignement de la discipline, le double objectif d’apprendre à la fois la langue et la matière est réalisé de façon optimale, puisque langue et discipline sont intégrées dans un enseignement EMILE.
The aim of BritLit is to help teachers from around the world to exploit contemporary British literature, in the form of short stories and poetry, as a language tool for the ELT classroom. Each BritLit resource kit contains a range of downloadable materials to help teachers using literature in the English language classroom.
