Learning through Sharing: Open Resources, Open Practices, Open Communication

The conference will be held at the University of Bologne, Italy on March 29 - 30. This two-day conference focuses on the impact of adopting openness as a key principle in education. It explores how open resources, open practices and open communication can be integrated in language teaching and learning, and in the initial and continuing development of language teachers.

Prejudices affect the love story between Italy and Germany, because the opinions in the newspapers of both countries are made of stereotypes and generalizations. Too bad, because there is a lot to discover in Italy as well as in Germany. But we must write about it. For this reason the Goethe-Institut started, in cooperation with various partners, a two-year initiative. Its aim is to break down commonplaces and arouse mutual curiosity instead.
