The Intergovernmental Language Policy Forum about took place in Geneva (Switzerland) on 2-4 November 2010. It was organised on the initiative of the Council of Europe’s Language Policy Division (LPD) and at the invitation of the Swiss authorities represented by the State Secretariat for Education and Research and the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Directors of Education.
