How much does it cost?

Sliding scale

The annual subscription fee to join REAL is on a sliding scale to ensure that as many associations as possible can be part of the network regardless of their financial resources.

The subscription fee is calculated according to:

  • the level of purchasing power parity in the country in which the association is registered;
  • the total number of members within the association or federation.

Three different full members

Three different types of fee level depending on the type of language teacher association in question.

1) Associations

These are independent associations, for example: ‘Swiss Association of Japanese Teachers’.

2) National Federations

These are national federations of language teacher associations, for example: ‘Maltese Federation of Language Teacher Associations’.

3) Association part of a national federation subscribing to REAL

These are associations who are part of a federation which has already subscribed to REAL and so benefit from a discounted rate, for example: ‘Maltese Association of Russian Teachers’ which is part of the ‘Maltese Federation of Language Teacher Associations’.
