REAL directory is now online: connecting language teacher associations in Europe!

More than 230 associations

We have identified around 230 associations of language teachers throughout Europe. To make the Directory as up to date as possible, we have asked all associations to double check the information we collected. If you haven't received an e-mail from us yet, please contact us to help us create an entry for your association.

The purpose of this Directory is to help language teacher associations increase their visibility on the web, in particular to assist the recruitment of new members and networking with other associations with similar interests. Teachers visiting the site will be able to carry out a quick search to find an association in a country of interest to them.

At the moment, the opportunity to create such a profile is available to all – both members and non-members. However, in the longer term, only REAL member associations will be entitled to update and add to their entry.

What data has been collected?

We have collected information about your association:

• from publicly available sources on the Internet;
• from the results of a survey carried out as part of the REAL1 project.

REAL is your voice

Our aim is to give associations a voice in Europe: if you want us to publish an article about your association’s news or activities or to inform us about a project you are participating in, please get in touch with us at contact[at]real-association.eu.

Data protection
All data collected in the directory will be stored on electronic databases administrated by the Centre international d’études pédagogiques on behalf of the European Network of Language Teacher Associations (REAL) until 31 December 2011. In respect of the principles of privacy protection envisaged in Law “Informatique et libertés” of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, modify or delete your own data at any time.
