Der FaDaF ist seit Januar 2010 Partner in dem von der EU geförderten Projekt "IDIAL for Professionals: interkulturell - regionalisiert - qualifizierend - professionell", das unter der Leitung der Interkulturellen Germanistik Göttingen geführt wird. Die Aufgaben des FaDaF liegen vor allem im Bereich der Qualitätssicherung sowie für die Disseminierung der Projektergebnisse.
