This is the text of a presentation given by Jonathan Hooley (CIEP) and Linda Parker (ALL) at the seminar Making It REAL held at CIEP in Sèvres, France on 7-8 November 2011. They spoke about the results of the EU-funded project, REAL2, which has successfully established REAL (the European Network of Language Teacher Associations).
