Over the last three years the REAL2 project, co-financed by the European Commission, has been working to set up a Network of Language Teacher Associations in the form of a sustainable membership organisation. The final seminar was an opportunity to look back upon what has been achieved so far and to give potential members more information on the Network’s future activities.

The first REAL seminar took place in Iasi, Romania from 4-6 June 2010. The seminar was aimed at the leaders of language teacher associations across Europe, and provided a unique opportunity to bring associations together, to discuss and share ways in which to make associations as attractive as possible to potential members.
