REAL-CEFR: The Common European Framework for Languages: from theory to practice, Grenoble (France)

Seminar

Wed, 24/08/2011 - 14:00 - Sun, 28/08/2011 - 12:00
REAL CEFR

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) has revolutionised the way we think about languages in Europe. Despite this much remains to be done to put its ideas into practice. Interested in finding out new ways to use it ? Want to have your say on how it could be better used ? Then join us for our August seminar in Grenoble.

Our objectives

Our seminar will enable participants to:

  • update their knowledge of existing ways to put into practice the different aspects of the CEFR;
  • reflect on new ways of using the CEFR in tune with the needs of practising teachers;
  • get to know more about the new European Network of Language Teacher Associations (REAL).

Our approach

The seminar will be based on plenary conferences providing theoretical knowledge linked to workshops presenting concrete examples of classroom practice.

In addition to these more formal sessions, there will be a whole host of opportunities for informal networking and dialogue.

Participants will have the possibility to display disseminate material from the projects and association activities that they are already involved in. All sessions will provide adequate time for questions and answers.

Registration deadline
