Education report warns of growing teacher shortages Brussels, 10 February 2012 – Several Member States, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria and Belgium, may face serious teacher shortages in the future, according to a new report published by the European Commission.

Čeština pro cizince - Czech for Foreigners

Čeština pro cizince is a website run by the Research Institute of Education in Prague since June 2008 as commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The portal is thematically oriented mainly on the examination in the Czech language for permanent residence in the Czech Republic. As of January 2009, successful completion of the examination is a prerequisite for a foreigner to obtain a permit for permanent residence in the Czech Republic.
