The next training event, organised as part of the teachers’ forum composed of language centres specialising in French as a foreign language (FLE), will take place on Friday 6 April at the Alliance Française Paris Ile de France between 9.30am and 5.00pm. The topic will be ‘new learning spaces’. The FLE teachers’ forum provides opportunities for teachers to share their practice and reflect upon the use of digital resources as a way to innovate in the classroom.

Jonathan Hooley (Project Coodinator) and Julian Serrano Heras (Vice President) will be speaking about the project as part of a session organised by the European Commission on 2 February 2012 in Salle Senghor at 1pm. The aim of Eurêkol is to provide teaching materials for primary school teachers who want to treat the topic of the European Union in a fun and original way. Eurêkol consists of six separate chapters, each of them concentrating on one particular topic: an introduction to EU, its history, its symbols, the Euro, agriculture and geography of the Union.
